By using Mottainai, you agree to the following terms. This service is governed by Austrian law.

Use of the service

Mottainai is an anti-waste platform for home inventory management, shopping lists, task boards, contacts, and AI-powered features. The Free tier includes up to 200 items, 1 storage, 1 board, 5 contacts, and 1 contact group. The Supporter tier (€5.99/month or €59.90/year) includes up to 50,000 items, 20 storages, 20 boards, 100 contacts, 20 contact groups, and access to AI features. You may use the Free tier for personal, non-commercial purposes. The Supporter tier may also be used for commercial purposes.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, including any API tokens and MCP access credentials you create. Do not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or through your API tokens.

Limitation of liability

Mottainai is provided as-is without warranties. We are not liable for any data loss or damages arising from the use of this service.

Service tiers and pricing

The Free tier is available indefinitely at no cost. The Supporter tier is a paid subscription available on a monthly or annual basis. Current prices are displayed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days' prior notice. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider — we do not store your payment card details.

Cancellation and downgrade

You may cancel your Supporter subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. When you downgrade to the Free tier, your data is preserved and remains accessible within Free tier limits. No data is automatically deleted upon downgrade.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mottainai for any illegal purpose, to upload harmful or malicious content, to attempt unauthorized access to the service or other users' data, to disrupt or interfere with the service's operation, or to resell access to the service.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Austrian law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Austria.
